7-Eleven Japan is a subsidiary company under the parent company of Seven & I Holdings Co. It has more than 50,000 outlets around the world. The stores are located in 16 countries. 16,020 and 920 stores are located in Japan and Hong Kong respectively. The first opened store in Japan and Hong Kong is in 1974 and 1981.
Although they are all under the name of 7-Eleven, there are differences between the stores in Japan and Hong Kong.

Digital camera photo print service:
In
Japan, the 7-11 convenience stores have the digital camera photo printing
service provided to the customers. The customers just need to bring the
portable storage devices like memory card of the digital camera then the store
can help them to print out the photos in the card. The photos can also be sent
through infra-red to the printer to print out the photos or documents.
Food delivery service:
This
service is mainly focus on elderly people and busy people. As the old people
may have difficulties to travel to the convenience store, they can order the
ingredients or even cooked food online through the website of the 7-11 and the
staff will deliver the food to them. This services has not yet been applied in
Hong Kong.
Net print
service:
The net
print service is that the customer can login to the net print website of 7-11
and upload the file at home. When the customer arrived to the designated store
he can simply pay and collect the print out.
